Katsucon19 has ended

Welcome to the schedule for Katsucon 19 in 2013!

Katsucon is an annual 3-day fan convention held in the D.C. metro area for multicultural enthusiasts and entertainment. Katsucon is produced by Katsucon Entertainment, Inc. (KEI), a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization dedicated to bringing information about Japanese animation, society, and traditional and popular culture to fans everywhere.

Kevin Bolk is a freelance cartoonist, illustrator, and proud alumnus of Awesome University (his favorite imaginary alma mater). Although he’s done work for Nickelodeon, Tokyopop, Udon Entertainment, Blind Ferret Entertainment, and Voices For, he’s best known for his parody webcomics “It Sucks to be Weegie” and “Ensign Sue Must Die!” as part of Interrobang Studios’ Pot Luck Comics. His art has also been featured on MTV.com, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Cracked, Comics Alliance, i09, ScrewAttack, and more.Kevinís body of comics work also include the quirky auto-bio comic “I’m My Own Mascot” as well as the fantasy webcomics send-up ìThe Last Mystical Legend of the Fantastic Fantasy Trigger Starî, just to name a few. He founded Interrobang Studios with partner Sarah Martinez. The studio has been hosting their collaborative works for more than 7 years and will be expanding to include new talent in 2013.When he’s not drawing, K-Bo can be found performing elaborate song and dance numbers on street corners. Give him two bits and he’ll steal your heart away.
