Welcome to the schedule for Katsucon 19 in 2013!
Katsucon is an annual 3-day fan convention held in the D.C. metro area for multicultural enthusiasts and entertainment. Katsucon is produced by Katsucon Entertainment, Inc. (KEI), a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization dedicated to bringing information about Japanese animation, society, and traditional and popular culture to fans everywhere.
Following up from last year’s workshop; “Let’s Make Video Game Music” we will take it one step further and actually see the process of how music for games is applied and implemented into an actual game. First we will come up with music on the spot as a group and then we will do a LIVE and on-the-spot demonstration on applying music that we created and put it to actual live gameplay. We will try to do as many music tracks as possible for the duration of the workshop. Come and experience process of composing music for games and how it applies to interactive gameplay. Come and share your creativity! Musicians: Feel encouraged to participate in some of the recording/composition.
